    In-car bike storage

Hi - I'm taking delivery of an Evoque next week so this is my first post on here!

I'd like to be able to carry a couple of road bikes inside the vehicle and I've come across this: Minoura Japan ? VERGO-Excel-M which sits on the floor of the car but I was wondering if anyone has seen anything similar that attaches to the luggage rails and would therefore be more sturdy.

    Any thoughts much appreciated!

To be clear... what would be ideal would be a bike rack that works like the load retention system for the Evoque (Load Retention System** [VPLVS0125] - $252.51 : Range Rover Evoque Accessorie from Pure Evoque, Parts and Accessories for your Land Rover Range Rover Evoque) but with bike mounts attached.

I'm about to stuff my mountain bike in mine. But will do some measuring first. Not sure it can make the clearance in an upright position. Will report back.

FWIW, my Trek fits fine inside with the front wheel removed (rear seats folded down of course). Mine's a mountain bike. With a cloth between could get two in there.

I carry my road bikes in my evoque, 58cm frame, front wheel removed and laying on it's side, it's a tight fit. Not enough room for the bikes to be upright at least for that frame size.

I use a KUAT Sherpa hitch mounted for our 29er Mtn bikes. I doubt that you'll have much luck with a system that puts a bike upright in the back of an Evoque.
