Installing hi-line entertainment Dynamic
last week I upgraded my Meridian audio system without nav into the Hi-line with nav.
on YouTube there are several instructions of how removing dashboard panels.
First I installed the GPS in the roof. There for you need to remove the ceiling. It wil take about 30min.
then you click the GPS into the bracket wich is allready installed from factory.
second I placed a Farka gps extend cable wich I bought via Ebay.
after this I replaced the head unit and the touchscreen. The touchscreen was not needed to be replaced, but I wantend to be sure that the system was complete as on system.
after installing the system it did not show any difference.
today I brought the evoque to our dealer and they reprogrammed it into the hi-line System.
it is possible to upgrade with original components aftermarket or genuine. It wil take about 4 hours max and 2 hours at the dealer for programming.
cost €450,00 for system (from accidental car) and €257,00 for programming.

Do you have links to the site where you bought the items? Would be interested to know what "upgrade" it is, as my Meridian sounds pretty darn good, but for that price I would look into upgrading if it was worth it.
I do not have any links, but you can also find the nav systems on Ebay.
what I did was replacing the old unit by a other unit from a Evoque with several options like nav.
before you replace the headunit you have to add some cables for the extra features. Like a cable for GPS and a cable for rear camera.
