    Electronic Problems

My 2012 Evoque still bothered by one elec. prob. after another.
This AM, no defrost on my heated windshield! Really love that feature here in Michigan.
    On the 2nd battery.
    No heated steering wheel, intermittently
NO volume control from steering wheel, intermittently.
love the car, but very frustrating.
    Back to the dealer.
    Just wanted you to know.
    Sure would like auto-start.

Anyone else have these issues/ How did you resolve?

My battery was replaced at 8000 miles...had died twice prior to the replacement. I now havev14k..no other battery issues. As far as electrical, no issues.

I have posted a similar concern last year, in fact after a while my Evoque steering wheel commands stopped working after being intermittent for a while.
Dealership could not find a problem, but they replace my entire steering wheel and all the problems were solved.
They told me I had a faulty steering wheel electrics.
    Cheers

I'm starting to experience a failure of the left side steering wheel controls. Volume and fwd/rvs buttons have become intermittent, so I am glad to hear others have seen the same. Heated wheel and windshield have no problems.

Definitely experienced the intermittent left side steering wheel controls. Service has been poor with resolving intermittent problems.
You shouldn't have to stop just because the pavement does! 2012 Range Rover Evoque Pure Plus Coupe, 2009 Land Rover LR2 HSE traded, 2008 Land Rover LR2 SE traded.

OK, if your battery goes flat you should demand your dealer run a load test. Mine was replaced at 100 miles. There is an update that supposedly cured batteries getting pooched. What was going on was, the alternator was shutting off before it reached optimum charge. So the battery was always struggling.
