Upgrading the touchscreen software
It sounds like everyone agrees that the touchscreen software is very slow.
Has anyone heard about upgrading an older model with the 2015 version? Besides the speed issue, I assume it would also allow for the new InControl App functionality:
Land Rover InControl™ Apps enables you to use vehicle optimised smartphone apps on the vehicles touch screen by connecting your smartphone with a USB cable to the dedicated InControl Apps USB port. Once connected, the apps on the vehicle's touch screen have the same look and feel as they do on your smartphone. A variety of approved vehicle optimised apps such as: Contacts, Calendar and Music Player will be available, with more third party vehicle optimised apps becoming compatible over time for a continually fresh and personal user experience.
On a related note, how do I at least update the navigation maps?

I would be up for this, if it is possible.
For the serious modders there is also Android Auto. Wonder if that could be used on existing screen
