Range Rover Evoque Ingenium Engine - PDF & Oil dilution problems.

Hi Guys. New here, looking for advice.

I am interested in a RRE 2016/17 2.0 Ineguim auto.

Are the PDF and Oil dilution such a big issue as read in the media etc

I do between 15/20k/12mths driving at between 30/70mph on A/B class roads and motorway. Average round trip could take 30 mins on A and Motorway. Also trip of 250miles round trip on all classes of road. Also I prefer Sports mode with my current Audi.

    Would this be an issue.

    Thanks

    Welcome to the forum!

If you have a look at the UK Evoque forum, you will see that oil dilution with the EU6 diesel spec engines, is quite an issue. The oil dilution gets really bad if you use the vehicle for short trips. Then the regen of the DPF doesn't get done or doesn't get to finish. A lot of the UK forum members are saying they won't ever buy a diesel engined vehicle again.
