    Q500 Auto Transmission Calibration, Q511 GTDI Pre-ignition

    Hi all,

Checked Topix and noticed two outstanding campaigns for my VIN.

I'm hesitant to bring it in for the transmission reprogram since I'm satisfied with the transmission (except for the surging/ creeping issue I've posted about). Don't know anything about the other notice.

Figured I'd ask here about them in case someone has had these done already.

I checked Topix the other day for my MY2013, and the Q511 Pre-Ignition is listed for my VIN. The dealer is an hour away, so I won't be taking
it in until my next service, in March of next year.

It would be nice to know how important a campaign is, so one could make a good decision on whether to get it done promptly, or wait until it is convenient.

Ya, I'm hoping someone has the type of Topix account that can access the details in those updates. I contacted my rep at the local dealer for specifics but he has not gotten back to me yet.

I again went into Topix, to look at an owner's document, and the Q511 Pre-Ignition campaign is gone. I am now showing NO Field Service Actions for my VIN.

Just checked my VIN. The Q511 is gone for me too. Other one is still there.

My rep at the dealer got back to me the other day confirming the two bulletins were due for my car, but didn't add any insight as to what they fixed/ cured etc.

    Hi DVFlyer,
I hope I'm not hijacking here, but I saw your 2/25/15 post concerning accessories purchased earlier from member LandRover.
I sent a PM (at least I think I did), but haven't received a reply to my home email. I'm wondering if you would have additional contact info?
    Thanks!

Hi Upcode. Didn't see a PM from you. Unfortunately, I do not have any other contact information for LandRover. I only talked with them via the PM function on this forum.

Found this info on another evoque forum from "[email protected]"

Q500 is a software update that has been released as some customers have raised concerns of irregular gear change or selection of neutral. The update is intended to calibrate and improve the gearbox functionality.

    Thanks DVFlyer,
I didn't try to PM you, only LandRover, but received no reply from him.
Like I mentioned, I was hoping you would have more recent contact information.
    I appreciate your reply!
