    coolant level

On may 12 evoque I noticed that over the last few days the coolant level has been dropping a little, below max mark.Outside temp low 50F. I can't find a leak anywhere. My oil looks good to.
Is normal for coolant level to drop due to the temperature.

We have a 2012 Evoque. We are 2nd owner. Coolant level has been a constant issue since we got the vehicle. The first owner had it back for recall, issue not fixed. No one has ever been able to diagnose the issue. No leaks evident. No issues with performance. Just have to add coolant every once in a while.
At this point we just see this as part of this particular vehicle and keep coolant on hand and top off as necessary. Could be worse I guess.

Topping off every once in a while is normal.

For sure, but not to this extent. It drops below the minimum line after about 250 miles. We still have this vehicle and the issue has never been resolver, or gone away. Nor has it gotten worse. As I posted before I just see it as one of the quirks of this particular vehicle. Would still like to know what's happening; more for curiosity sake than anything else.

Getting a low coolant warning too. I can smell the coolant on the engine. Looks like it is wet on the intake side down under the throttle body.
Looks like there is a coolant host that goes down there.
