Noise when changing headlights from low to high beam

Has anyone noticed a "thunk" type noise when switching headlights from low to high? I don't remember hearing that noise before but have recently noticed it. This is a 12 Prestige. Can any of you try it and tell me if you have the noise? Would you mind identifying your model and year so i can try to make sense out of this? Thanks.

Yes it is a "thunk" sound. Normal sound when the shutter switches from low to high beam. BMW's make the sound too.

Yes. It's a normal function of Xenon beams.

Yet all Evoques are like this it's simply the shutter inside the projection lens clicking in front of the lamp to allow more or less light.
