My suggestion would be to contact Land Rover Customer Service, and ask them for some help as to how you could do what your'e planning
The number below is for Customer Service in the US, but they should be able to steer you in the right direction.

If you're on an island an will be doing nothing but low speed driving, I'd look elsewhwere as you'll be dealing with the lousy transmission at its worst.

Besides the quote above, where will you go for service?
You shouldn't have to stop just because the pavement does! 2012 Range Rover Evoque Pure Plus Coupe, 2009 Land Rover LR2 HSE traded, 2008 Land Rover LR2 SE traded.

Generally speaking in order to legally "export" a car from one country to another you need a letter of compliance from the manufacturer. Maybe RR will write one for you. Where did the ones that are already there come from?

Well, if they came from the US (legally) you can do it too. Once I wanted to import a BMW motorcycle from Canada to the US. The bike was exported to nearly every country in the world except the US and, in fact, the Canadian version had all US emission specs etc. BMW would not write a letter of compliance so I could not import. Perhaps those other cars came from France or UK?
