    Hello

Hello everyone. I'm going to pick up my 2014 dynamic 5 door this Friday. Firenza Red with black lettering and black rims I'm just wondering about automatic car washes. I live in Wisconsin and in an apartment complex. I can't see not washing it all winter and am curious as to what the big deal is with no automatic or high pressure car washes. I'm also curious about oil changes, do they need to be done at a Land Rover dealership?

    Welcome to the forum!

I don't personally take any of my cars through an automated car wash, but that's just me I don't see why taking an Evoque through a car wash, would be any different than any other vehicle. Though, I would use a "brushless" car wash, to try and preserve the paint.

There's nothing special about changing the oil in an Evoque, I change the oil in our's myself. You just need to use a full synthetic oil and an oil filter designed for synthetic oil.

    Hello Rsquared,

Thanks for the welcome and response. Hey I'm also wondering if you know anything about the rectangle in the grill if the vehicle that I'm about to buy. I was kind of turned off by it at first. Then I thought it might be protecting the sonar sensor for the adaptive cruise control but I don't think the sensor is located that high up. Any ideas as the reason this rectangle is there? I've attached a couple of photos.

I believe it is in fact the sonar for the adaptive cruise control. Not very attractive I agree.
