So what version of the Evoque are you looking at getting? The model with the six-speed tranny or automatic?

I would love to have the 6speed, just haven't sold the wife on it yet

It's just to much work and hassle, especially in traffic. I'm at the stage in my life where I just want to sit back, enjoy, and let the car do all the work.

The thought of a six-speed transmission sounds fun, but I'll probably go with an automatic for the everyday commute.

Until recently, I preferred manual gearboxes, but now, like the previous poster, just don't want the hassle. I have the 9 speed. It shifts pretty smoothly, combined with the DVVT. Besides, now days you get better mileage with an Automatic.

Can you even get a 2014 Evoque with a manual transmission?
