I see owner's manual states that battery removal and replacement should be done by your Land Rover dealer as it requires special tools. Can anyone explain why special tools are required? It appears that there is a front stabilizer bar that looks as if it must be removed to then remove the battery. Does this bar first need to be removed? But it doesn't appear that its removal would require special tools. If special tools are needed, what are you supposed to do if your battery won't take a charge and your a hundred miles from a dealer?
