I decided to catch up on the maintenance on my 2013 Evoque coupe, 23,000 miles. This time I included cleaning the MAP airflow sensor. I applied a few shots of MAP cleaner from a spray can using the applicator straw. The end result was the restoration of a very smooth idle and better throttle response that had slowly decreased over the miles. So easy to remove, the sensor is located right after the airbox. Five minute job unless you drop a torx screw into the engine compartment. Unplug the wire connection to the sensor and remove the two 20 torx screws holding it to the air tube. Pulls right out. Be careful not to touch the tiny delicate wire/bulb sensor that is to be cleaned.
