GtKhali, Welcome to the forum.

If you PM me your e-mail address I can send you some pictures and a write up from the Factory Service Manual on how to correctly install the Crankshaft Position Sensor. You do need a special tool. I have seen the JLR-303-1595 Alignment tool, Crankshaft Damper, advertised for around $50.00.

Im having the same issue. Please help me. My email address is [email protected].

Hello,
I was also having some issues with timing up the crank in relation to the sensor after my apprentice removed it without timing it. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!

Mult noroc!

Hi, I have a 2013 LR2 and replaced the intake cam sprocket and timed engine. Runs great but getting p0016 and p0017 faults. I believe the crank sensor is not adjusted properly. would you mind sending me the service manual for sensor adjustment? [email protected]

Thanks!

I have sent you the email. The parts of the manual I sent, are for the Evoque 2.0L Ford EcoBoost engine.
Might not work for your LR2. Let us know how you make out. Good Luck!
