Hello everyone!

I live in New Jersey and am still relatively new to cars (hence my username on this forum). Nonetheless, I'm really excited about being able to finally purchase my first car in the coming Spring - especially because it's gonna be a 2013 Evoque!
(Fuji White Coupe, Pure with Premium Package + 20" Style 6 wheels)

Right now I'm pretty much just down to deciding on a suitable interior theme/design, and I hope to get some of your thoughts and insights. At the moment, I'm considering 3 combinations (in order of my current preference):
  1. Ebony Grained Leather with Ebony Headlining (this would cost an additional $400, since it'd be a custom order)
  2. Ebony Grained Leather with Ivory Headlining
  3. Almond/Espresso Grained Leather with Ivory Headlining
What do you think? Should I go ahead and throw in another $400 for a custom Ebony headlining - is it worth it?
If not, would the contrasting Ivory headlining look awkward with an Ebony interior?
And if I do go ahead with the Almond/Espresso option instead, isn't it a mismatch with my choice of exterior color (Fuji White)?

Why and why not?

I believe we're all into this gorgeous looking vehicle because we all share similar (GREAT) taste and particular to detail! I'm sure there will be excellent responses to this post - ***As the title of this post suggests, please also feel free to share your thoughts about matching the colors of your vehicle (interior and exterior)!***

Thanks in advance for all your generous sharing and help!

Cheers,

IMHO Ebony interior and headliner with a contrasting shinny metal finisher on the dash would be sharp. Dark headliners might make the interior feel less spacious, but with the large pano roof you'll be good!

First off glad to see another Jersey person here.

Secondly, I have black exterior with all black interior. The only thing I don't like about black leather is it gets got as heck in the summer and cold in the winter. Now in the winter the seat warmers and steering wheel warmer work great so that kind of eliminates that. The summer though, you will get a lot of back sweat. The car feels spacious even with the black interior (2 door) so I would not worry about that.

Thank you for your input! I guess I'll be sticking with my first choice - Ebony interior with Ebony headliner as an additional option.
