Hi everyone,

I have been dealing with P2263 on my Evoque 2.2 SD4 '11 and I can't figure out why it's happening.

  • replaced the turbo actuator twice
  • checked egr and it's clean
  • checked map and maf they are clean
  • checked turbocharger I can't seem to find any damage to the shaft/propeller
  • actuator arm operated manually and it's not sticking at all, glides smoothly
  • dpf soot 10.7 (haven't been able to drive the car on the motorway but it's not much above normal)

The car basically drives fine until you press down the throttle and there is no boost at all and error comes back. If I rev the car during idling I can hear the turbocharger engaging, no strange sounds, zero smoke and no oil in pipes.

There is one thing I've noticed when I rev it past 4k rpm there is a strange vibration almost like a popping coming from the back somewhere, not sure what that is. It's almost like the air can't escape or too much air. Might be just the engine shaking as well. Also I have noticed when operating the actuator arm manually and revving the engine there is no change in the air produced by the turbocharger (turbo hose removed) not sure if the load is not enough of there is a problem with the arm and the vanes.

Any help would be appreciated, I am basically stuck at this point and have no idea what to do.

Including freeze frame of the error code. (btw not sure what external temperature is and why it is always stuck at 215 deg, car shows correct external temperature on dashboard, not sure if that's coming from the maf sensor or delphi just shows some dummy data)

Possibly a vacuum pump or vac supply issue to solenoid or wastegate.
