I just ordered a Range Rover Evoque 5-door Pure in Ipanema Sand with an Almond/Expresso interior, 19" 6-spoke Sparkle Finish wheels and, all options less rear entertainment. Xenon lights, due to a supply shortage were not to be offered on the pure, at this time, for an $800 consideration on the premium package price. The vehicle was altered from an existing stock order for a similar vehicle in Colima Lime due for delivery, Alburquerque, NM, 1/17/12. Although the build date is still first week of December 2011, delivery has been moved out to 2/28/12. Hoping for an earlier delivery, I am excited to have one on order.

I replaced the Evoque, Pure, order, above, with an order for a Barolo Black Prestige with an Ebony interior, allocated to my local dealer, last Tuesday. With this vehicle I can get the xenon lights, short changed from the early production Pure. I should get build/delivery dates this Monday... production seems to be freeing up more now.

Sounds great. I was lucky enough to find on a local dealer's lot in the Seattle area. It's a Pure with just about everything on it. It wasn't my first choice of color, but I'm happy with it now. I was thinking of either the red or the color you ordered. It had the dealer add the towing setup (which wasn't cheap). They claimed it was a 4 hour job to install and that's about how long it took. I should say that's how long it took before they called me when the job was done. I was over in a local Mall about 2 miles away so I can't say that it really took 4 hours for the job.

Now I'm glad I didn't get the red as it would have been the same as a flashing beacon, pulling into any parking lot. I'm sure the red would had sucked a lot more gazers over to check it out. As it is, the green gets more than I need. I don't think I've parked anywhere that someone has ambled over to check it out and tell me what a beautiful rig it is. So far, the Evoque is like a movie star car.
