Hi everyone,
Hope someone can help me. my shade roller seams to have broken today. The liner doesn’t roll back like normal anymore. It stays hanging down. Any might know what happened and can I fix this.

I know that the pano roof comes as a cassette and is fitted as a single unit. I haven’t heard of the roof blind failing, so not sure how to go about fixing it.

here’s something you could try...

Panoramic roof blind reset:


start the engine
press and hold the roof blind switch for @ 30 seconds until a double click sound is heard
release the switch - within 3 seconds press and hold the roof blind switch again
hold until the roof blind completes a full open and close cycle
once the roof blind has stopped moving release the switch.
the blind has now been reset.

Hope it works, but of course if it’s something within the roof blind mechanism that has physically broken, then it probably wont, but fingers crossed 🤞

I had the same issue, turns out a plug from some wiring got stuck in the roller and wasnt rolling correctly Once I removed it started working fine again

Hi. How did you get to the wiring that was stuck? I have a similar issue but not sure how to take it apart to have a look

If u go to the back seat and face the rear of the vehicle.
Pull the hoodlining slightly down so u can see inside, if u stretch to open or close or get doe one to help u do it, u can see the roller moving
mine rolled twice and then stopped them I saw something stuck underneath it
Removed it and goes all the way now
