After receiving an invite for a complimentary 2 hour off road experience from Range Rover, I signed up to the location at The Quail Lodge in Carmel, CA. I must say that I have a much greater appreciation of the Evoque's off road capabilities and my wife and I had a blast with their Evoque. From extremely steep inclines to mud holes to side angle maneuvers, we got a great education and I highly recommend it. Mark, the instructor, was great. Near the end, we crested a trail in the forest. I had no visibility of the drop immediately in front of us as it was so steep, he told me to give it a little throttle and take your foot off the brake. Hill descent took over, trust the vehicle and it responded with extreme competence. Many times a wheel was 3 feet off the ground. I highly recommend it both for an eduction and a blast!

I have been looking at the course and intend to take one with my wife. If you have already purchased your Evoque, did you use the San Jose dealer? If so, do you mind if I ask how they were? I am looking at a couple of dealerships, and they are one of my options.

Bought mine at Cole European in Walnut Creek; I live in Marin and the dealer in Corte Madera would not budge much on pricing, so I went to Cole. Am totally satisfied with the car and have not had any issues on our 2013.
