Tata Motors jumped over 2 per cent on the bourses Tuesday on the back of strong sales growth in the two premium brands it owns. Tata Motors DVR traded with over 4 per cent gains. "China is driving sales... It recorded annual sales of 42,000 which is above the target of 40,000. Even sales in US have done well," Deepak Jain, AVP, Sharekhan said. Global sales of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) in December 2011 surged 45 per cent year-on-year to 30,981 units. Sales beat estimates of 20 per cent on the back of strong growth in China. The newly launched Evoque volumes stood at 9,000 units in December against expectation of 6,000 units.
