Land Wind?

Well, I'm actually over here in Beijing some and I can say haven't seen any knock-offs. But I have seen quite a few Evoques - seem to be popular if can be afforded here.

If it is anything like the "Rowe" (pronounced row way) which is how "Rover" is pronounced over there, it is probably under powered, and has pretty shabby build quality. I wouldn't worry about seeing them in the West. These are usually built for the domestic market. Just like computers, or any intellectual property, China has little respect for copyrights. "Top Gear" did a great piece on the Chinese domestic car market a couple of years ago. They have certainly come a long way in a short time. I would be more concerned about Ford using design cues found on Range Rovers, and Aston Martins. I guess they feel justified, since they used to own both companies, so possibly they could have retained some of the rights, but I have much less respect for them and their lack of originality.
