Do you still have the Cayman? IMO the Cayman is a good looking porsche and it's not overkill like the 911's.
I can see it being a good daily driver but what were your opinions on it?

In the near future I want a GT car, discussed elsewhere on this forum if the Jag CX16 comes out I'd get that but if not I was thinking of a Cayman S

Ooooh- I'm waiting for the CX16 too. But for now, the Cayman S fills those needs. I like mine but it's a not my fave for a daily driver. The aftermarket exhaust and suspension is a bit too loud/stiff and the clutch is heavy in traffic so it gets a bit tiring for everyday use. Plus driving it on the street only uses like 20% of the potential of the car so I don't really enjoy it unless it's getting pushed a little. I also have a family of 4 so I don't get too many chances to drive it. That's why I got the Evoque.

On the other hand, the Cayman is a pretty amazing car to drive, especially on a track. And as a daily driver, it's can be good because it has decent storage with the hatchback and front trunk. I know a few people with a Cayman S as their only vehicle and they seem to be happy with it. And if you get PDK and keep the stock exhaust, it will be easier to drive around town.

Have you had a chance to drive one yet?

Its really a fun car; a real driver's car! Kinda like the minimal approach when it comes to auto. My previous car was an AP2 S2000 turbo.

Rockhouse, I really like the porsche, it looks sharp. I think I would be worried to try the buckeye powered parachute.
